Julie's work has been featured in magazines, newspapers, radio programs and on television. Classes that she created for the JCC in Manhattan have been listed in the New York Times, New York Magazine, The Village Voice, Time Out New York, Time Out New York Kids and various other publications.
In the fall of 2008, she appeared on Sesame Street where she taught her young students how to cook with Murray the Muppet. See photos

SESAME STREET
On September 24, 2008, Julie and her mini chefs were in cooking school with Murray the Muppet and his friend, Ovejita on Sesame Street. Julie and her students, ranging in ages four to eight years old, taught Murray how to make Stuffed Mexican Corn Cakes with a black bean and cheese filling and Creamy Guacamole.
